TREVOR LIVERSIDGE TAKES OUT AUSTRALIAN HISTORIC CHAMPIONSHIP

Following on from the 2009 success of QEMSC club secretary Bernie Summers Trevor Liversidge recently became our second successive Australian champion in Period 5 in the Ultra lightweight class up to 125cc.

Trevors consistency over the 3 rounds on Saturday & Sunday saw him edge out best mate & fellow Kawasaki rider Bernie Summers by just one point 65 to 64. Trevors weekend started with a first place finish on the Saturday in wet conditions even after he expressed his concerns to everyone that he hated racing in the wet. After race leader Stephen Kairl fell off at MG Trevor took the win with Bernie in third. Trevor finished third in both dry races on Sunday to claim his first ever Aussie title.
